For your retail items all you have to do is apply your Mines of Moria key and enter the game. Once logged into the game, you will notice some Ithildin Coins in your character's inventory. These coins can be exchanged for the items you wish by visiting a special barter NPC in Middle-earth.

Q: I’ve chosen the wrong item, can I chose another one?
No. We are unable to help you exchange items if you’ve select the wrong one so make sure you get it correct the first time! If you are affected by an in-game bug which means you’ve been unable to claim your items or something has gone wrong please send an in-game ticket.

Q: Is there a Mines of Moria free trial?
There is currently no trial for Mines of Moria. If you’ve a friend interested in trying The Lord of the Rings Online then they can still get a free, 14-day

The best way for you to get back into the action and re-join the battle for Middle-earth is to download the full game client and associated Mines of Moria standalone patches, all of which can be found (with instructions) in our Moria User Patching Guide.

Q: How do I apply my Mines of Moria key?
You can apply your Mines of Moria activation key by visiting our Player Accounts System. Once you have logged in you will see a button to "upgrade" your account where you can then apply your Mines of Moria key.

Q: I only have one Ithildin Coin and I should have more. Where are the rest?
Please note that the Ithildin Coin is a unique item and therefore you can only have one in your inventory at a time. Once you have redeemed the one in your inventory, the next time you log into the game the next Coin will appear. This will continue until you have used up all the Coins gifted to your account.
